One of the most perfect locations for a wedding is a beautiful garden setting. Garden weddings can occur in the evening or daytime, but regardless of the time of day a wedding garden requires lighting.

A popular garden wedding candle light is that of the clear bottle lantern. A clever cutout in the bottom unscrews for easy candle placement and exudes a beautiful shimmering light. Bottle lanterns can be hung from hooks, placed on a pole, or included on reception tables as centerpieces. They make a lovely accent wherever they are placed and provide elegant lighting for a romantic touch.

Garden stake votive holders are a great addition to any garden wedding theme. Each stake has a clear glass insert that holds a tea light or votive candle. Garden stake votive holders are oftentimes used to illuminate outdoor pathways and walkways. These are useful to create an aisle for the bride to stroll down as she heads for her groom.

Floating gel candles make the perfect addition to garden weddings and provide an elegant touch when included on guest tables or on the reception table. Oftentimes, floating gel candles are added to punch bowls or placed in small glass bowls with colored water added.
Candelabras are another form of garden wedding candle lighting that can be used during the ceremony as a symbol of unity. Candelabras consist of a candle holder base which holds two taper candles and one pillar candle. After the couple has exchanged vows, they each light a taper candle and together, they light the pillar candle.

Candelabras can also be placed as a centerpiece on reception tables or as an elegant addition to a buffet table. Candelabras are generally constructed from silver, gold, or pewter and will last a lifetime if properly cared for.

Hurricane vases can be transformed into gorgeous candle lighting for a garden wedding. These vases can be filled with decorative rock or colored water. Add a floating candle and you have instant elegance.

There are many types of candle holders available to create wedding garden themes. Regardless of whether you are looking for casual or elegant lighting for your garden wedding, chances are good that you can find the design elements you are seeking to create the wedding of your dreams.

They say that first impressions count for a lot and this is one saying that is particularly true. You have probably done it so many times before yourself, seen someone or something and immediately you have either taken a like or dislike to that person or at the very least formed an opinion about them. If you can relate to this then you will know that first impressions do last. Here are some tips to help you make a great first impression.

Perhaps the most important factor to making a good first impression, particularly when attending an interview is your dress. How you present yourself says a lot about the person that you are, you might have all the best intentions in the world, be more than qualified for the position and would fit into the position but if you don’t give a good first impression then you are severely affecting your chances of getting the position, before you have even opened your mouth and said a word.

Listening and observing are two great traits that will show you in the best of light and also make a great first impression. While innovation is also a good trait to have, it is also important that you are able to listen to the ideas of others around you and fit in. By listening and observing what goes on around you, you are able to learn and then act on what you have learnt before rushing headlong into something that you know nothing about.

Your body language can play an important factor when it comes to first impressions. How you carry yourself can tell the other a lot about you and the type of person you are. While you are trying to give the impression that you are confident your body language can totally give you away and tell the other a totally different story. Many interviewers will have studied body language and be on the look out for certain signs that give away the true you. In general, most people have formed opinions about certain body language and will judge you based on yours. You can help yourself by studying body language and practicing certain techniques and mannerisms before an important meeting or interview.

Good manners are a great boost towards how someone sees you and can go a long way to reinforcing a great impression of you. There is certain etiquette during an interview and learning interview techniques and etiquette can only work in your favor. While something’s should only be common sense, such as walking into the interview in a confident manner and giving a firm handshake and waiting until the interviewer has taken a seat before sitting yourself, other techniques can also be learned. Take some time to study interview techniques and learn the rules of etiquette well in advance of your interview or important business meeting and keep one step ahead. Consider how you want to be viewed by friends, family and colleagues and carry those good manners throughout your life to create lasting first impressions

Confidence is a trait that most interviewers and bosses will look for so coming across as a confident person is essential. There are various techniques that you can learn to help yourself and boost your confidence and these can be practiced in front of a mirror or friends and family.
